The winners of “Ideas for Mobile Applications” competition

The Cultural Village Foundation “Katara” announced the names of the winners of the first three places in the “Ideas for Mobile Applications” competition on the love of the Prophet, which it launched during the period from April 20 to May 29, 2021, during the activities of Doha, Capital of Culture in the Islamic world.

The winners are: Muhammad Aref Al-Dabbas from Iraq in the first place for the application (with the Prophet), and the value of the prize amounted to 3,000 US dollars, and in the second place, Nardin Shafee Abadi from Jordan, and the prize amounted to 2000 US dollars, while Anas won Al-Homsi from Syria won the third place, and the prize money amounted to $1,000.

The competition, open to all from inside and outside Qatar, which aims to encourage young people to keep pace with the knowledge economy and prepare a generation capable of engaging in projects to serve religion and society, attracted about 110 participants, as Egypt and Sudan ranked first with 50 participants, and the Levant and Iraq ranked second with about 27 Participation, while the participation of the Gulf countries reached 19, and the participation of the Arab Maghreb countries was limited to 9, and 5 posts from non-Arab countries.
