Research competition on “Language in Holy Quran”

The Cultural Village Foundation “Katara” announced the research competition in Islamic, linguistic and rhetorical studies “Language in Holy Quran” during the activities of Doha Capital of Islamic Culture 2021.

The competition includes three research categories: “Quranic language and style and its rhetorical secrets”, “Aesthetics of semantic and context in the Quran text”, “Aesthetics of pictorial and narrative performance in Holy Quran”.

About the conditions of the competition, “Katara” clarified that the competition is available in Arabic at an international level for everyone who is proficient in research, and the submitted work has not been previously published, also is not a scientific thesis (Master’s / Ph.D.).  Also, the submitted work shall not be less than 50,000 words, provided that the submissions are to be sent to the e-mail [email protected]

The Cultural Village indicated that the deadline for submitting the submitted works is 14 October, while the last date for announcing the results will be December 29, and indicated that Katara Publishing has the right to publish the winning entries, and the writer’s sending his participation is considered a final approval to publish it.

The value of the competition prizes is $60,000, distributed as follows: the first prize is $30,000, the second is $20,000, and the third is $10,000.
