Today, the activities of “Qatari Success” Festival in its fourth edition were launched at the Qatar National Convention Center, with the participation of 16 different governmental and private entities, as part of the activities of Doha, Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021.
The festival this year includes various sessions that meet the aspirations of the audience, as the organizing committee of the festival was keen to involve the public in it and allocated prizes and huge surprises for it.
The organizing committee of the festival affirmed its full commitment to all the procedures of Ministry of Public Health regarding to (Covid-19), in terms of adhering to the number present inside the place as well as the distance of social separation and ensuring that the masses have received The two doses of the Corona vaccine, so that they are allowed to enter the festival site.
On the sidelines of “Qatari Success”, 7 forums will be held, namely (Decision-Makers Forum, 2022 Forum, Shura Council Forum, State Institutions Forum, Business and Finance Forum, Arab Success Forum presented by Dr. Tariq Suwaidan, and Poets Forum).
On this occasion, Mr. Faisal Khalid Al-Otaibi, founder of “Qatari Success” said: “Every year we seek and aspire to install the festival in the country’s annual events agenda, and on this day, we reap the fruit of hard work for nearly four years”.
He expressed his thanks to all of those contributed to the success of this festival over the past four years, especially the work team that worked continuously to make it a success, hoping that the festival will contribute to highlighting more successful Qataris and successful Qatari women to be an example and role model for others in the coming generations.
In turn, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Nawaf Al-Thani, Chairman of the Festival’s Organizing Committee, said that Qatari success Festival has been prepared for two consecutive years after it was stopped due to the Corona crisis.
He confirmed that, in line with the precautionary measures in force in the state, more than 200 thermometers were provided at the festival site, in addition to coordination with various parties, as well as a number of volunteers, to prevent the entry of anyone who did not have two doses of the Corona vaccine to this site. His Excellency called for the necessity of adhering to the safe distance during the presence at the festival site, in addition to preventing gatherings inside it as well, in addition to the obligation to wear the masks.
He added: “As for dealing with the precautionary measures inside the hall, the organizing committee worked to determine a safe distance between each seat and another, while adhering to the number of people allowed in their presence as well”.
He pointed out that the organizing committee put four huge surprises, including the adoption of a Qatari success award, in which a large group of attendees will participate and will be voted on by the audience, and the second surprise will be granting free courses and workshops to the festival’s audience of citizens and residents during the period of its stay. The other surprise includes the launch of the “Broadcast Message” program, which is meant to host some famous and well-known personalities in the country during this festival, where the program will be broadcast live on the “Qatari Success” application and accounts on social networking sites of this festival, provided that the fourth surprise will be announced in due course.
For his part, Mr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Yafei, a member of Qatari Success Organizing Committee, explained that the idea of this event has been transformed into an award to be voted on in “Qatari Success” application for the best in all categories. (The award winners will be announced during the closing day of the festival on August 28th).
The award includes 10 categories for Qatari Success Award: Best Youth Initiative, Best Inventor, Best Poem for the year 2020/2021, Best Media Platform Social, Best Local Program in a Local Channel Best Social Media Influencer, Best Ministry or Government Service Institution, Best Young Broadcaster, Best Read Newspaper, and Best Entrepreneur Project.
