Doha capital of Islamic culture activities continues during the year

Under the slogan “Our Culture is Enlightenment”, the activities of Doha capital of culture in the Islamic world for 2021, continue throughout this year under the supervision of Ministry of Culture and Sports.

His Excellency Mr. Salah bin Ghanem Al-Ali, Minister of Culture and Sports, stressed at the launch of the events the importance of culture and what characterizes nations from the perceptions of life. For his part, Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), valued Qatar’s efforts represented by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in this choice, which embodies Doha’s recognition of its heritage and history. In addition to the great efforts made by the Qatari government to prepare and set up cultural equipment and unleash the energies of cultural creativity among young people and creators.
